About
Wayward Dog Training, LLC
Building the Human and Animal Bond on a Foundation of Respect
We founded with the goal of working alongside dog owners to socialize, train, and manage dogs of all shapes and sizes in hopes of assisting dogs in remaining in their homes for life, rather than entering the shelter system due to behavioral concerns.

We accomplish this goal by providing training, boarding, and resources to dog owners that fit their needs. We offer boarding for dogs with medical or behavioral special needs. We offer courses and training designed to help raise puppies to be well mannered and well socialized. Finally, our strongest passion is helping to rehabilitate and create training and management plans for dogs with aggression or other behavioral special needs to help them stay in their homes.

Meet Our Trainer: Eleni Calomiris

Eleni has dedicated their life to helping animals. One of the founding board members of Wayward Ranch Animal Sanctuary, they have been working in animal rescue for over a decade, drawn to the dogs deemed "unadaptable." They began to train dogs in 2012 as an apprentice, in hopes of learning how to live safely with their own dog Buck, who came to them as a rescue with severe aggression. Four years later they began to work as a professional dog trainer for Duonola Dog Training, LLC, helping dog owners with private training sessions in their homes. They later certified under CCPDT as a Certified Professional Dog Trainer. Now they has branched out to create Wayward Dog Training, LLC in hopes of bringing their expertise and passion to the dogs who need their help the most.
